The O’s will take on a Tottenham Hotspur X1 in their final part of their pre-season schedule.
The match has been a regular fixture in recent years and whilst it is unlikely that we will see any established stars at Brisbane Road on Friday July 29, it is a great opportunity for both clubs to test Spurs’ youngsters.
Russell Slade will undoubtedly use the friendly as a chance to watch some potential loanees, with the loan link between the two clubs likely to stay strong again next season.
This match is added to a pre-season schedule which starts with trips to two Blue Square Bet Premier sides in Braintree Town and Ebbsfleet United before a three-match tour of Finland. Whilst in Finland the team will take on IIves and SJK from the Finnish second division (third tier) and FF Jaro of the Finnish Premier division.
Orient finish their summer with two League Two opponents in Dagenham & Redbridge and Gillingham before the Spurs encounter.
