Martin Ling let seven first team players go at the end of the last campaign. But with the new season looming, how are the players faring in their search for a new club?

Stuart Nelson: Had a trial with Oxford United and Lincoln City and recently played 45 minutes in a friendly for championship outfit Norwich City.

Clayton Fortune: He found a club quite quickly in the form of Darlington.

Charlie Daniels: Went back to Spurs and recently had a trial with Millwall which didn’t work out. Tottenham reportedly want to let him go, but at a price.

Wayne Corden: Cords has been given a trial by Oxford United, where he played so well in the promotion game in 05/06.

Jabo Iberhe: The fans favourite also found a club reasonably swiftly, joining Walsall on a one year deal.

Efe Echanomi: Efe has had a trial with Ebbsfleet, was reportedly wanted by Walsall and recently played in a friendly for Luton Town.

Andy Barcham: The Spurs youngster went back to his parent club.

Also, Justin Miller, released by Port Vale (Where Shane Tudor is fighting for his place) had an unsuccesful trial with Aldershot but went on to sign for Conference South side Chelmsford City.
