Hello and welcome to Vital Orient.
This is my first article as the new site editor and I am looking forward to writing about my team and watching Leyton Orient this season. This is my second season as a season ticket holder and I am certainly more confident about this season than the last.
Last week`s disappointing defeat at Dagenham & Redbridge was a setback for the team after two good results. But manager Russell Slade has built a good team for the new season and I believe the likes of Stephen Dawson, Matthew Spring and Alex Revell can really push us forward. Is it too early to dream of mid-table stability?
This Saturday`s visit of Huddersfield Town will be tough as I expect the opposition to be pushing for promotion but if we can get the ball down and play then I think we have a real shot of picking up a vital three points.
I am looking forward to Saturday, the rest of a hopefully successful O`s season and writing for Vital Orient.
