Well travelled frontman Jonathan Tehoue has become Geraint Williams’ first signing of the transfer window after he done enough to impress during a trial period.

Twenty-five year old Tehoue brings a wealth of experience to the club’s frontline having played in the top flight in three countries. The Paris born forward was initially invited to Orient on trial and has worked hard to impress in training and has been rewarded with a contract until the end of the season.

The Frenchman’s career started at Bastia where he played seven games in the French top flight before a quick spell in Cypriot football. His next move was to Belgium where he eventually played for FC Brussels in Belgium’s top flight. His third and last stint as a top-flight striker was in Turkey with both Kasimpasaspor and Konyaspor.

Tehoue’s career then went sour as he was locked in a contract dispute with Konyaspor as he tried in vain for a move to England with Huddersfield, which was eventually blocked by FIFA.

Whilst at Brizzy Road the Frenchman will wear the number 15 shirt.
