In the first of two crucial home games for Leyton Orient, Fabio Liverani’s side host the team bottom of League 1 Yeovil Town.

The O’s are two points from safety and will need to claim a win on Saturday afternoon as a defeat could see Yeovil leapfrog them.

With games now running out Orient need to bounce back from last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at Peterborough and start picking up wins both at home and on their travels.

VitalOrient previews the all important tie.

Leyton Orient Team News:

Orient will be without key midfielder Romain Vincelot after the Frenchman was ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee ligament injury.

Shane Lowry remains a major doubt after missing the match at Peterborough.

Ryan Hedges returned to training this week after recovering from a thigh injury and could feature on the weekend.

Player to watch: Josh Wright

The midfielder has been one of the O’s better players in recent weeks but will be under pressure to perform on Saturday with the absence of Romain Vincelot alongside him.

Wright is expected to be partnered in midfield by Marvin Bartley and the two of them will need to be signing from the same hymn sheet if Orient are to win the battle in midfield.

The 25-year-old has made 21 appearances for the O’s this season.

Yeovil Town Team News:

Yeovil are hoping to welcome back captain Joe Edwards for the first time in a month.

Sam Foley limped off in the defeat to Bristol City on Tuesday night but is expected to be fit for the trip to Orient.

Stephen Kingsley missed in the 3-0 loss on Tuesday night but is in line to return this weekend.

Player to watch: Gozie Ugwu

The striker is the Glovers joint top scorer having joined the club in Janaury.

Each of 22-year-old’s four goals for Yeovil have proved to be crucial as they have never lost when Ugwu has scored, winning twice and drawing twice.

Yeovil are the lowest scorers in League 1 and will be looking to Ugwu to fire them to safety.

Match Facts & Stats

Orient have won three of the previous five matches between the teams.

The O’s will be looking to claim a crucial double over the Glovers having won 3-0 at Huish Park at the end of December.

Orient’s biggest home defeat to Yeovil came in March 2011 when they were thumped 5-1.
