Leyton Orient have confirmed that influential midfielder Romain Vincelot will not feature for the club again this season after suffering medial knee ligament damage.

The Frenchman was stretchered off late into the O’s 1-0 defeat at Peterborough on Saturday and after undergoing a scan on Monday the extent of the injury has been revealed.

The midfielder’s absence comes as a massive blow to the side and Fabio Liverani will now have to decide whether or not to bring in a replacement on loan.

Vincelot has made 33 appearances for the O’s this season in which he has scored four times.

VitalOrient would like to wish Romain all the best with his recovery.
