Ten-man Carlisle held Leyton Orient in what was to be an entertaining clash at the Matchroom Stadium.
The Os enjoyed much of the possession, particularly in the second half, but were unable to find the killer punch.
Carlise keeper Ben Williams made a bunch of saves stopping Simon Dawkins and Adam Boyd to ensure the scores remained level.
And Scott Dobie was sent off for violent conduct following an incident with Brian Saah of the ball.

I’m looking across from a Spurs perspective, my uncle follows the Orient so I wanted to check up on how you guys are getting on. I can’t tell you how envious I am of those four points you’ve got, we can’t buy a point and Chelsea to follow, Christ we may be seeing a bit more of you next year than intended. If it’s any interest I am managing Leyton Orient on LMA Manager 2005, 5 years in and we’ve won the Champions League, FA Cup, Carling Cup, Charity Shield, Super Cup, and I’m up to 58,000 seating capacity. I still can’t get Freddie Kanoute to sign though. Shame we can’t cheat at real football too isn’t it.LOL All the best for the next game, I’ll have my fingers crossed for you guys too.

ORIENT EXPRESS- thornton is a qualty player! he is always cool on the ball and controls the orient midfield!
the forwards havent been doing that bad….Ling needs to experiment and see how things work- also gelling as a team is essential!
uptheos. I live in Cornwall mate, so I’ve never been to any games up there. I did walk on the pitch at white hart lane this year though, I came up for the England vs Switzerland game and went to have a look at WHL in the morning, AND GOT LET IN!! A great day. Sometime soon though I’ll get to the Orient. My Uncle takes his grandaughter there to most home games and I have a standing invitation to join them anytime – probably my best chance of seeing at least one Spurs player in my life, even if he is on loan.LOL All the best.

It would be nice to think he could make it all the way to the big time, I guess they’ve put him out on loan to give him a bit of a chance to learn at a higher level than the reserves. The young striker all the VitalSpurs fans keep raving about is Tomas Pekkart, who has just been put out on loan to Southampton. Quite a few on here were hoping he might get a 1st team substitute spot this season, given the fact that we only had Darren Bent (Christ!) but it now seems that Pavlyuchenko and Arshavin and possibly Falcao from Columbia may be coming so it’s off to Southampton instead. Apparently we are also after a chap called Huntalaar from Ajax for £20 Million, if we get him I’ll see if I can arrange to loan him to the Orient until January so you can see if he is any good for us.LOL
