Orient have followed suit with the latest ticket pricing cuts by announcing that the next four consecutive home games will be free for under-16`s.
Under 16`s tickets for the East, South and West Stands will be free for the upcoming games with Oldham Athletic, Scunthorpe, Northampton Town and Doncaster Rovers.
O`s Chairman Barry Hearn said: “‘We’re always looking at new ways to encourage more supporters to the club, particularly children as they represent the future of Leyton Orient. We are the third worst supported club in the division and only a very small percentage of the local community come to our games, but hopefully this initiative will encourage plenty of new people through the gates. The team have been playing some good football lately and have begun climbing the table so bigger crowds behind them should lift them further and generate a better atmosphere inside the ground.’
There are conditions on the free ticket offer with the club stressing that unaccompanied children will be charged at the normal rate whilst the offer does not apply to the Gallery or Wyvern Suite.
Tickets must be ordered in advance but can be claimed on the day of the game.
