Orient starlet Brian Saah has signed a new deal with the club which will keep him at Brisbane Road until June 2009.
The defender has gained a new 2 ½ year contract after a string of impressive performances this season in League One.
Saah made his O`s debut aged just sixteen in September 2003 and has now racked up 50 appearances for Martin Ling`s side.
Saah, who joined Orient as a 14-year-old, was originally a central midfield player but has now converted into an extremely promising central defender.
O’s boss Ling was keen to tie the promising defender down to a longer-term deal and he is delighted that Saah has committed his future to the club.
He said: ‘Brian’s new contract is a rich reward for his performances over the last two seasons. He thoroughly deserves it and he has gone from strength to strength since converting to centre-half – if his game continues to develop at a similar rate he will have a big future in the sport. He is yet another product of the centre of excellence here, and it’s a great tribute to our youth system that eight members of our first team squad have come through it.’

Good to see Martin rewarding Saah. He’s done really well this year. Well done Brian.
Yeah, I agree. He’s been terrific recently.
