We Kent Lose This One!

If Kent is widely described as the Garden of England then Gillingham is definately that garden’s compost heap. Gillingham is not a nice town at all with some very strange inhabitants you’d expect to see on The Jeremy Kyle Show.

We travel to Kent after messing up at Tranmere on Saturday when Orient failed to perform in the first-half, went in 2-0 down and the started playing in the second half. Poor defending (again) cost us on Saturday as we dragged ourselves back into the relegation mire. Fans favourite Jonathan Téhoué got the consolation goal for us as his cult following grows larger game by game. I believe it was no coincidence that we lost the first game we were without Nicky Adams after he was recalled by Leicester.

We have a new signing to look forward too, Aaron Doran. Doran, 18, joins us from Blackburn Rovers and stays in East London till 27th March 2010. Doran has three Premier League appearances to his name against Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea so he can’t be that bad if Blackburn are prepared to throw him in the deep end against opposition like that!

Doran should start, in my opinion ahead of Jimmy Smith. Smithy is really not a winger, he’s a competent centre midfielder but nothing more. That’s the only real news from our camp, we have a clean bill of health throughout the team and look may it continue!
