Huddersfield – May have just missed out through the play-offs this season but will no doubt continue to strengthen their squad this summer. There are always in the mix come the end of the season and I would expect them to do the same next season.
Sheffield United – Relegated after a disastrous season in the Championship but a big club with a big fanbase. If the can add a couple of players and avoid a mass exodus of their current squad then could be a force next season under the new management of Danny Wilson.
Sheffield Wednesday – A similar case to that of their Sheffield rivals as a big club who should on paper do well in League One. Have already added experience with permanent signings of David Prutton and Rob Jones and I would expect them to improve after they under-achieved last year.
And a few to fight for the play-offs, hopefully with the O’s next season – MK Dons, Chesterfield and Scunthorpe.
