With three wins from their previous four matches, Leyton Orient host the table toppers Bristol City as Brisbane Road.

Orient continued their recent run of good form with an impressive 2-0 victory at Walsall on Saturday but now turn their focus quickly on to Steve Cotterill’s side.

Bristol City are eight points clear at the top of League 1 but Orient will be hoping to put a sting in their tail and move out of the drop zone.

The O’s are now only one point from moving out of the relegation zone and will be looking to produce an impressive scalp on Tuesday night.

VitalOrient previews the match.

Leyton Orient Team News:

Shane Lowry is a doubt going into the match after hobbling off late on at Walsall.

Luke O’Neill made his debut at right back on Saturday and could make his home debut on Tuesday night.

Scott Cuthbert and Dean Cox are pushing for starts.

Player to watch: Ryan Hedges

The Swansea winger has excited the Orient crowd since his arrival in January.

Despite having to be patient on the bench at the start Hedges has made the most of being handed starts in the previous two matches and scored his first professional goal against Walsall.

Hedges’ pace on the wing could be crucial if Orient are to claim a win against Bristol City.

Bristol City Team News:

The Robins have been dealt an attacking blow after Matt Smith returned to Fulham following the expiration of his loan deal.

City do however still have Kieran Agard, Aaron Wilbraham and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas to choose from in attack.

Steve Cotterill is not expected to make many changes from the side that defeated Rochdale on the weekend.

Player to watch: Luke Freeman

The former Arsenal forward has become a key part of the Bristol City side during his first season at Ashton Gate.

Having arrived in the summer from Stevenage Freeman has made 42 appearances in all competitions.

The 22-year-old has scored 5 goals for the Robins this season and will need to be kept quiet on Tuesday night.

Match Facts & Stats

When the sides met at Brisbane Road last season Bristol City ran out 3-1 winners.

Orient are only one of four teams to keep a clean sheet against Bristol City this season.

The O’s last league victory against City came in November 1980 when they won 3-1. Orient have only defeated City twice in the FA Cup since that victory.
