Russell Slade has said it’s all to play for in the second leg against Southend.

Speaking to the Official Site following last nights 1-0 loss in the first leg, Slade said he thinks we created enough to know that we can get ourselves ahead again in the second leg.

‘It’s a really frustrating night for, we created enough on the evening to get ourselves a couple of goals, unfortunately we’ve not and we trail now and that’s made life very difficult for us. It didn’t go our way, but there’s a lot to play for, it’s only half time. We’re now the underdogs, they have an advantage. I think it’s far from over though and there is a lot of football still left.’

Slade adds he thought the game was a typical cup tie with both teams having a right go, and he thought the atmosphere from the fans was fantastic, despite the conditions.

Now the focus returns to the league and the Tranmere clash.
