O’s Let Dolan Go

Former Millwall defender Joe Dolan has left Orient after his contract was terminated by mutual consent. The central defender made just one start and one substitute appearance. He had loan spells at both Stockport County and Fisher Athletic.

Commenting on Dolan’s departure, Ling said, ‘Unfortunately things didn’t work out as we’d expected with Joe’. Ling went on to add,’He always gave 100 percent but he wasn’t able to force his way into the team and we agreed amicably that the best course of action was to release him from his contract so he can try and re-start his career elsewhere.’

Ling has now released two central defenders this week, having let Christian Hanson leave after his deal with the O’s had run its course.
