On the back of Tuesday’s defeat at home to league leaders Bristol City, Leyton Orient travel to Peterborough.

The O’s recent improvement in form has seen Fabio Liverani’s side pick up three wins in the previous five matches but Orient remain in the relegation zone.

Peterborough recently sacked Darren Ferguson but academy manager Dave Robertson has performed well since stepping in as his replacement, winning his first two matches.

Peterborough could be boosted by the return of Marcus Maddison.

Conor Washington scored the winner at Sheffield United midweek and could be in line for a start.

Peterborough have no fresh injury concerns.

Player to watch: Jack Payne

The Posh captain will be key for the hosts on Saturday.

Payne has played 35 games for Peterborough this season and scored a goal from distance at Sheffield United on Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old will be sure to have an exciting battle with Romain Vincelot in the middle of the park.

Gary Sawyer is expected to feature having been left out of the squad on Tuesday night.

Midfielder Bradley Pritchard could also return having missed the previous two matches.

Scott Cuthbert and Dean Cox continue to push for a place in the starting XI.

Player to watch: Chris Dagnall

The O’s top scorer produced a fantastic performance when Orient travelled to London Road earlier on in the season.

The striker helped himself to two goals on the night and terrorised the Peterborough defence with his tireless work-rate.

Dagnall has scored 11 goals for the O’s this season.
