Leyton Orient remain in the relegation zone following their 1-0 defeat at Peterborough.

Following a lacklustre first half showing the O’s fell behind in bizarre fashion when Jon Taylor’s cross caught the wind and floated into the top corner.

Orient were much improved after the break but failed to test Ben Alnwick in the Peterborough goal on many occasions, with Jobi McAnuff the only one to force him into making a save.

Dean Cox and Josh Wright came close with efforts late on but the afternoon was soured when Romain Vincelot was stretchered off with a nasty looking knee injury.

Marcus Maddison was sent off at the start of added time for the hosts after lunging in on Luke O’Neill but the O’s were unable to make the most of the man advantage in the time remaining.
