Despite taking an early lead Leyton Orient lost 3-1 at home to Bristol City.

The O’s got off to a fantastic start and broke the deadlock on the 4th minute when David Mooney set up Chris Dagnall to fire beyond City goalkeeper Frank Fielding.

The league leaders responded strongly however and equalised eight minutes later through the impressive Luke Freeman.

With 21 minutes on the clock Orient then found themselves behind as Aden Flint was left unmarked at the back post to head belond Alex Cisak.

Having started the second half brightly Orient fell even further behind on the hour mark when City captain Aaron Wilbraham tapped home from close range.

Fabio Liverani’s side continued to try and find a way back into the match but it was not be there day at City held on.

The defeat sees Orient remain in the relegation zone but still only a point behind Coventry City who are 20th.
