Leyton Orient are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Josh Koroma in the four nil victory over Newport County at the weekend at Rodney Parade was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Koroma was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘The EFL Star of the Day, Koroma couldn’t have picked a better time to get off the mark for Leyton Orient, grabbing three goals in the 4-0 win at rock-bottom Newport County. The winger had already teed up Steven Alzate for the opening goal, before taking centre stage as the O’s moved within five points of safety.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Koroma for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the points.
