Butcher Leaves Orient

Tottenham`s young goalkeeper Lee Butcher has completed his month-long loan spell at Leyton Orient, and returned to his parent club. The 21 year old stopper joined as cover for Glenn Morris following Jamie Jones` recent injury worries. Jones picked up a head injury against Colchester United, and the concussion kept him out for a number of weeks.

He deputised on the bench on four occasions, and also played in three reserve games against Brighton, QPR and Brentford. Miraculously, Orient`s schoolboy-aged stiffs remained undefeated during his appearances, which can only speak volumes for his aptitude. However, he became surplus to requirements on Jones` return to fitness, though Vital is sure he`ll be welcomed back should anything go awry with the two present incumbents.
