West Ham United have been announced as Olympic Stadium tenants after securing a 99-year lease to play in Stratford.

They will receive a £60 Million contribution from the Government, a further £40 Million from Newham Borough Council and £20 Million from the London Legacy Development Corporation to help adapt the stadium into a suitable arena for football.

West Ham will only have to contribute £15 Million to help renovate the Olympic Stadium, up 10 Million from their initial amount offered in helping to bring the stadium up to their desired criteria.

The Hammers will also pay £2 Million rent a year once they move in.

O`s chairman Barry Hearn is still confident that his Judicial Review will still get requested despite today`s announcement.

Speaking to TALKSPORT Hearn believes the announcing of the deal is sign of a fear by all the parties concerned.

“Why they are trying to steam roll this announcement through today, prior to the court`s decision, to me is a sign of panic. I don`t know why they are doing it”
