Former Orient winger Shane Tudor has signed for Port Vale, with ex-team-mate Justin Miller looking increasingly likely to join him at Vale Park.

Tudor, who wanted to move back to the Midlands after enduring a poor season at Brisbane Road, admitted that he was delighted to join Martin Foyle`s men.
‘I had a few clubs interested in me, but once I spoke to Martin Foyle he showed he was keen to get me here,” Tudor said.

‘He seems like a good manager who wants to play good football. ‘With the players he is bringing in, I believe we have a good chance of promotion next season.’

Foyle, who has also signed former Barnsley striker Marc Richards, made Tudor his leading target for right wing after releasing Malvin Kamara.

He has also been keen to land 26-year-old Miller, Tudor’s team-mate at Orient.

Tudor added: ‘I have played against every full-back in this league and I don’t think there is anyone harder to get past than Justin.

‘We have played together for the past couple of years and we have a good understanding.’

Tudor added: ‘It’s a nice ground, a good set up and Martin is a good young manager.’

And he joked: ‘I have probably played at Vale Park five or six times … so it’s nice to see that stand is going to be finally finished!’
