The latest man linked with a move to E10 is Barnet’s Ricky Holmes.

The 25 year old winger has been one of the Bees biggest assets since joining the club in 2010.

With relegation back into the Conference, it is almost certain that Holmes will leave Underhill for a higher level.

Speaking to the Epping Forest Guardian Orient boss Russell Slade confirmed that he has some interest in bringing the Barnet star to Orient.

Slade Stated,

‘Ricky Holmes has been injured but he is someone who is on our radar.’

Holmes has been touted for a long while to move up the divisions, but with his recent lengthy injury spell it may put potential suitors off doing a deal.

The O’s need another winger after Lee Cook’s departure and Holmes could fit the bill, especially with the reducing of the wage budget for the upcoming season.
