Northampton Town come to Brisbane Road for a game which sees 4th take on 7th at the top of League Two. Returning to Brisbane Road will be former Orient players Scott McGleish, Josh Low and David Hunt.

Prior to the game with Orient, Hunt who left Orient last season spoke of his excitement at taking on his old club. Ahead of the game, Hunt said,’I am really looking forward to our game at Orient this Saturday’. Speaking on his anticipated reception from the home fans, Hunt commented, ‘I’m not too bothered about the reception I will get from the fans. Hopefully it will be a good one but I will just keep my head down during the game, work hard and hopefully we’ll come away with the three points’.

Despite the midfielder’s confidence, Hunt knows that he will be in for a tough game at another former club having visited Crystal Palace in the F.A Cup last weekend. Hunt is well aware of the task facing the Cobblers saying, ‘It is a huge game for us. Orient are going well this season, they look like a very strong team and it will be a huge test for us on Saturday’.

Cobblers boss Colin Calderwood fully expects his side to compete at Brisbane Road claiming that,’We have been really focussed on the match all week and the players have all been talking about it even before the Palace game’. Taking time out before the game, Calderwood who is a good friend of Martin Ling stressed the importance of this particular league game compared to their F.A Cup game at Palace last week. Calderwood stated,’Our sole focus this season has always been the league and where you end up in the table come the end of the season is a fair reflection on how good or bad a season you’ve had’. Calderwood went on to say, ‘Cup success is nice and brings a bit of glory but the league is what we are all about, this year more than any other, and we are very concentrated on that and very much looking forward to Saturday’.
