Russell Slade hailed his side`s attacking threat after they hit five past struggling Notts County.

It was the first time Orient have hit five at Brisbane Road in a league match under Slade`s stewardship and the O`s boss was thrilled to see it happen against the Magpies.

“I couldn`t be happier, the goals we`re raining in tonight. Notts County came in with a certain game plan tonight and as soon as we began to deal with that we got on top a little bit. And as you know when we get in that final third we`re deadly at the minute.”

Three of Slade`s striking options scored on the night and the manager was quick to heap praise on all his attacking stars.

” At the minute if it`s not Mooney, It`s Lisbie. I`m delighted for the others who have come on, Shaun Batt has come on and scored and Jayden (Stockley) has taken his goal really well so that`s good news for us.”

Orient now have the week off to rest before they face Brentford on Monday evening in front of the Sky cameras. And Slade knows that the challenges gets greater as the good run continues.

“Every game almost gets bigger but you`ve got to enjoy that and embrace that and move on. So we`ll have a little breather now and try to treat them the right way in preparation for that game (Against Brentford).”
