Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade has been awarded for the clubs amazing performance this season by being named the joint winner of the LMA League One Manager of the Year.

Slade has enjoyed his most successful season as Leyton Orient manager, guiding the club to 3rd place and breaking several club records along the way.

The Orient manager was also named Manager of the Month twice during the 2013/14 season for the months of August and January.

Slade is the fourth longest-serving manager in England and marked his fourth anniversary as Orient manager back in April when the O’s drew 1-1 at Sheffield United.

The award will be shared for the first time in it’s history after Slade was named joint winner with Kenny Jackett, who led Wolves to the League One title with 103 points.

Congratulations Russell!
