Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade has stated that he is close to getting an agreement on the new contracts of David Mooney and Romain Vincelot.

The pair were offered new deals just after the season had finished but have yet to sign the terms.

However Slade is confident of getting the duo penned down for next season.

Speaking to the Epping Forest Guardian Slade said about the pair.

‘Romain is currently in the south of France but we are in contact with his agent and we are getting closer to a deal, although as yet it`s not finalised. Again we are close with Mooney.’

It looks like it could still be a while before we hear from both players as to where their futures lie, but it is hoped they both agree to stay in E10 after showing last season how pivotal both could be to the squad.
