Rugby League club London Broncos could make Brisbane Road their new home if they overcome recent financial difficulties.

The Super League club are looking to secure their future following last week’s news that the Broncos have given notice to enter in to administration.

According to the Daily Mirror, Orient have spoken to Championship side Wigan Athletic about the issues involved in sharing a pitch with a rugby league team.

The Broncos have already graced the turf of the Matchroom Stadium, having played a regular season game against Bradford Bulls last year.

This could be seen as a move to promote Orient’s potential bid to share the multi-use Olympic Stadium when it eventually reopens.

As of yet there has been no comment from either club in regards to any groundsharing.
