Orient left back Aiden Palmer has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

The twenty-year-old has made 17 appearances in the Orient first team since making his debut at Oxford United three years ago and he will continue to push Matt Lockwood all the way for a starting berth at left back.

The Enfield-born defender becomes the fourth of Orient’s out-of-contract players to sign their new deals, leaving Glyn Garner, Glenn Morris, Adam Tann, Craig Easton, Luke Guttridge and Gary Alexander as those still to decide on their futures.
O’s boss Martin Ling said: ‘I’m pleased that Aiden has put pen-to-paper on his new contract as it firms up the left back position in our squad.

‘Every time that Aiden has had the chance to express himself in the first team he has done his job fully, and he will be pushing Matt Lockwood for his place at all times next season.

“He thoroughly deserves his new contract and he will continue to be a valuable member of the squad.
