Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade is believed to be weighing up a move for Nottingham Forest’s Darius Henderson.

According to the Nottingham Post, Henderson is one of several strikers Orient are keeping tabs on.

The 32-year-old has a year remaining on his current deal but following the arrivals of Matty Fryatt and Lars Veldwijk, Forest manager Stuart Pearce is willing to listen to offers.

Should Henderson join Orient, he would most certainly become the first player that the O’s have paid a fee for since Wayne Gray in 2007.
