O’s Slump To Doncaster Defeat

Leyton Orient’s bid for survival took another blow on Tuesday night as they lost 1-0 at home to Doncaster Rovers.

Fabio Liverani’s side enjoyed the better chances during the first half and should have taken the lead through both Andrea Dossena and Darius Henderson who wasted guilt edged chances.

Orient were then made to pay following a lacklustre start to the second half when Rob Jones powered home a 56th header.

The goal condoned Orient to their 12th home defeat of the season as they dropped to 20th, outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
