With games running out and still hovering dangerously above the relegation zone, Leyton Orient travel to promotion chasing MK Dons.

The O’s saw their unbeaten run come to an end on Tuesday night when they slumped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Doncaster Rovers.

Fabio Liverani’s side remain on 47 points and sit outside the drop zone thanks to goal difference.

MK Dons will provide a stern test for Orient however as they continue to try and claim the second automatic promotion spot with four games left to play.

Karl Robinson’s side are currently 3rd in League 1, four points behind Preston North End and have a game in hand.

VitalOrient looks ahead to the O’s latest challenge.

MK Dons Team News:

MK Dons come into the tie without any new injury concerns and could name an unchanged line up from the side that won 3-0 at Fleetwood on Tuesday night.

Karl Robinson may look to rotate several players however and may opt to start the likes of Devante Cole or Carl Baker.

MK Dons are yet to concede a goal in April

Player to watch: Will Grigg

The striker has scored an impressive 20 goals for the Dons so far this season.

Grigg, who is on loan from Brentford, comes up against Orient in terrific form having scored seven goals in his previous five matches for the club.

Orient will have to produce a heroic defensive display if they are to keep Grigg quiet on Saturday afternoon.

Leyton Orient Team News:

Dean Cox again missed out on Tuesday night with a persistant groin injury but the O’s are hoping the influential winger can play a part on the weekend.

Andrea Dossena and Bradley Pritchard are also doubts with knocks.

17-year-old first year scholar Sam Sargeant was named as the O’s substitute goalkeeper on Tuesday night and looks set to retain his spot with Gary Woods continuing to struggle with a back injury.

Player to watch: Marvin Bartley

Despite injuries preventing him from having a consistent run of games for the club, the midfielder has produced good displays in the O’s previous two matches.

Bartley provided the assist for Darius Henderson’s goal at Crewe last weekend and also put in a good showing against Doncaster on Tuesday night.

Bartley has made 24 appearances for Orient this season.

Match Facts & Stats

Saturday’s encounter will be the 16th meeting between the sides.

Out of the previous 15 matches Orient have won on five occasions but have lost seven.
