Leyton Orient’s unbeaten away run came to an abrupt end on Saturday as they lost 3-0 at Port Vale.

The O’s were reduced to 10 men midway through the first half when Darius Henderson was shown a straight red for an elbow.

Despite going into halftime level, Port Vale continued to push forward and Adam Yates opened the scoring on the 63rd minute before Ben Williamson doubled Vale’s lead three minutes later.

Orient’s bad day out was then completed when Nathan Clarke turned the ball into his own net on the 81st minute.

Next up for the O’s is a home match against Preston North End on Tuesday.
