Orient Still In Mortal Danger

Leyton Orient’s immediate threat of being wound up was avoided this week when a court case was adjourned. But Orient are still in ‘mortal danger’ according to Adam Michaelson.

Commenting after the club survived the winding up petition brought by HMRC over unpaid taxes the legal adviser to the Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust (LOFT) told invest £1m to pay off remaining debts in eight to 10 weeks.

The battle to stay in the Football League could technically still be won by Orient but the main priority is the future of the club full stop.

LOFT continue fund raising efforts with the possibility of a phoenix club launched among the options being explored.
