As Leyton Orient’s season opener at home to Chesterfield on August 9 nears ever closer, Russell Slade’s side are set to host QPR on Tuesday.

The O’s maintained their unbeaten pre-season run against Northampton on Saturday, winning 1-0 thanks to midfielder Bradley Pritchard’s second half strike.

Having played each of their previous three friendlies away from home this summer, Orient return to Brisbane Road for the first time since the dramatic 2-1 win against Peterborough back in May.

O’s fans will be anxious to see how the summer signings are getting on and Orient’s latest addition Jobi McAnuff could play a part in the match after completed his medical on Monday.

QPR are expected to bring a strong side to E10 and R’s manager Harry Redknapp will most probably involve the likes of Joey Barton and Charlie Austin, as well as summer signings Steven Caulker and Rio Ferdinand.

Tuesday’s friendly will kick-off at 7:45pm.
