Dean Cox, Alex Revell and Charlie Daniels have been named in the official League 1 Team of the Week.

The trio were selected for praise after Orient’s excellent 3-0 away win at Bristol Rovers. All three seem deserving of their places after playing key parts in the game and the start of the O’s season in general.

Revell scored twice, Cox scored one and set-up another whilst Daniels gave another dominant display at left-back in Saturday’s win.

League 1 Team of the Week: David Martin (MK Dons); Abu Ogogo (Dagenham & Redbridge), Will Antwi (Dagenham & Redbridge), Mathias Doumbe (MK Dons), Charlie Daniels (Leyton Orient); Dean Cox (Leyton Orient), Ryan Harley (Exeter), Therry Racon (Charlton), Johnnie Jackson (Charlton); Josh McQuoid (Bournemouth), Alex Revell (Leyton Orient).

Striker Revell was also named npower football league player of the weekend by the London Evening Standard after netting his eighth and ninth goals of the season against Bristol Rovers.

The former Southend player has been receiving a lot of praise for his recent performances. Whilst Orient seem to be somewhat relying on his goals of late, it is just nice to write about the O’s having a in-form goal threat after relying on the ageing legs of Scott McGleish or the inconsistency of Ryan Jarvis for too long.

Do you think Cox, Daniels and Revell are deserving of praise for their performances? Leave your thoughts below…
