Having returned from their pre-season training camp in Northumberland, Leyton Orient are preparing to face League Two outfit Northampton Town on Saturday.

The O’s will travel to the Sixfields Stadium where they will come up against Chris Wilder’s side, and having played against non-league opposition in their first two friendlies, will be set for a tougher test.

Defender Scott Cuthbert is expected to miss the tie as he continues to recover from a groin injury, whilst new signing Jobi McAnuff is unlikely to be involved as his deal is still subject to a medical that is likely to take place over the weekend.

This will be the final away pre-season match for the O’s before they face Premier League side QPR next Tuesday and then Championship outfit Ipswich Town in a week’s time.

The match kicks off at 3pm.
