McMahon To Leave O’s?

Orient`s Daryl McMahon has been the subject of interest amongst a number of clubs chasing the former West Ham man`s signature.

McMahon is believed to be the subject of admiration from League One rivals, Yeovil Town who have held preliminary talks with the Irish midfielder. According to the Glovers general manager, John Milton, Town are interested in taking the player to Huish Park on a permanent deal. “We’ve had some preliminary talks over Daryl McMahon of Leyton Orient, although we understand that there are other clubs also looking at him, so will have to see how that pans out”, claimed Milton.

McMahon made his debut for Orient on January 1st 2005 in a 2-1 home win over Kidderminster Harriers. The former Hammer has found himself fighting for a place in the starting line up since Craig Easton`s arrival last summer from Livingston. Although Martin Ling has stated that he does not expect any of his players to leave the club, McMahon may find his chances somewhat limited at Brisbane Road and could look for pastures new in an attempt to find first team football.
