Jobi McAnuff left Leyton Orient at the end of his contract with the former Reading and Watford winger signing a contract with League 2 rivals Stevenage.

The vastly experienced forward, captained Reading to Premier League promotion previously with him amassing over 550 league appearances with the likes of the Royals, Watford, Wimbledon, West Ham, Crystal Palace and of course Orient.

McAnuff contract length with Stevenage wasn’t confirmed but his arrival on a free has been so the 34-year-old will come up against Orient this season with him likely to get a good reception at the Matchroom Stadium.

Another with previous at Orient is Kevin Nugent.

Nugent was not only a former player at Orient he was also assistant to Russell Slade during his four-years as O’s boss, moving onto Luton in the meantime with him now going to Charlton to work with Slade again at the Valley.
