Vital Preview

Leyton Orient Team News:

Mathieu Baudry is unlikely to be risked as he makes his recovery from injury.

Russell Slade could make some changes to freshen up the squad with Shaun Batt, Yohann Lasimant and Marvin Bartley all pushing for starts.

Player to watch: Yohann Lasimant

Lasimant will be eager to impress as he looks to grab the attention of manager Russell Slade.

Lasimant netted his first goal in Orient colours during the O`s defeat to Coventry in the league last month and he will be hoping to follow in the steps of another Frenchman in the form of Jonathan Tehoue when it comes to important cup goals.

Southport Team News:

Southport trio Chris Almond, Aaron Chalmers and Karl Ledsham are all in travelling party to London after given the go ahead to feature by Port physiotherapist Bret Harris.

Player to watch: Nathan Ellington

‘The Duke` as he is commonly known, arrived in Merseyside after a frustrating summer in which he failed to find a Football League club.

Now playing in the fifth tier of English football Ellington will want to show that he is still capable of playing at a higher level and will see this match as the perfect opportunity to display his talents.

Match Facts & Stats

The last time both sides met was nearly 15 years ago in the same competition, with the O`s winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Orient icons Dean Smith and Carl Griffiths.

Tomorrow`s clash will be the second meeting between the pair in the FA Cup with the other six matches the teams have played against one another taking place in the old third division.

Ref Watch:

The Referee for Saturday’s match is Kevin Johnson.
