Orient travel to Layer Road on Saturday for their final pre-season friendly against Championship newcomers, Colchester United.

Orient go into the final pre-season game with a number of injury worries with only 7 days until the start of the new season. The O`s will be without Captain John Mackie who has a foot problem whilst fellow central defender, Adam Tann, will also be missing with a thigh complaint. The absence of Orient`s central defensive partnership will allow new loan signing Dave Partridge to make his first pre-season appearance for the O`s alongside Brian Saah at the heart of the O`s defence.

Orient will also have to take on the U`s without striker Jabo Ibehre who has a swollen knee whilst Aiden Palmer is missing through a thigh strain. One piece of good news is the return of Darryl McMahon after the Irishman recovered from a leg injury which he contracted during the 2-1 defeat at Southend United.

Colchester are expected to be at full strength for the game with newly appointed manager Geraint Williams having a full squad to choose from. United should include former Orient loanee Richard Garcia whilst other players to watch include Chris Iwelumo, Jamie Cureton, Greg Halford and former Spurs man Johnnie Jackson.

Kick off at Layer Road is at 3pm.
