Orient boss Martin Ling has urged his out-of-contract players to put pen to paper on their new deals. Only Jason Demetriou and Matt Lockwood have signed new deals at Brisbane Road so far and there remain eight players still considering their future.

Glyn Garner, Craig Easton, Gary Alexander, Adam Tann, Luke Guttridge, Glenn Morris, Aiden Palmer and Efe Echanomi are all still to put pen-to-paper and Ling is hoping that they`ll decide on their future sooner rather than later.

He said: ‘We offered the players their new contracts on May 1, and under League rules they have 28 days to decide whether or not to sign.

‘But I’m keen for them to come back to me with positive answers as soon as possible so we can begin to assemble a squad to help us progress next season.’
