Jamie Jones could be out for up to three months after suffering a stress fracture on his back.

Orient’s number one missed the 2-1 victory at Gillingham on Boxing Day and his manager Russell Slade confirmed that the Liverpudlian is out for the forseeable future.

‘Jamie has got a hairline fracture in his back,’ Slade said.

‘It could keep possibly him out for three months so we have got a problem there.’

With Jones absent, it leaves inexperienced keeper Jake Larkins as Orient’s only available professional goalkeeper until at least January when the transfer window opens.
