Orient winger Johnny Gorman has been called up to the Northern Ireland Under 21’s squad for their friendly against Denmark this Wednesday.

The 20 year-old who signed for the O’s earlier this month will hope to feature for the Green and Whites later this week, as he looks to add to his caps received at international level.

Speaking to the official website Orient gaffer Russell Slade was pleased to see Gorman get his call up.

‘It`ll be a good experience for him and hopefully now he`s been called up, he will be given some much deserved time on the pitch.’

Gorman is expected to return in time for Saturday’s fixture away at Stevenage.
