Fulham In Talks Over Zak

Fulham are currently in negotiations with Orient over the signing of Gabriel Zakuani. Transfer rumours have been rife concerning Zakuani and a move to the Cottage ever since Orient´s 2-1 victory over the Cottagers in last season´s F.A Cup. Agent Richard Cody, who represents the central defender admitted that both clubs are currently talking.

Elsewhere, Orient have been linked with former Lincoln City midfielder Richard Butcher. Butcher, who currently plays for Oldham, is available for transfer from Boundary Park. Butcher spent a month on loan at Lincoln last season having joined Oldham from the Imps the previous seasons. However, Orient will have to fight off interest from Rotherham, Peterborough and Bournemouth to secure his signature.
