Leyton Orient got their season off to the perfect start as they scored five goals away at Carlisle United.

Strikes from Kevin Lisbie, Scott Cuthbert, David Mooney and a brace from Dean Cox helped the O’s to their second successive victory at Brunton Park ensuring Russell Slade’s first win in ten years as a manager on opening day of the season.

However there was a major injury concern as Nathan Clarke had to be taken to hospital with a suspected concussion during the first half.
