Scott Cuthbert will miss the final six matches of the season after fracturing a metatarsal in his foot.

The injury occurred during the 0-0 draw at Preston North End last Saturday.

Cuthbert was taken off after 50 minutes during the game and further assessment has revealed a fracture in the bone.

The former Celtic defender has featured 25 time for Orient this term, and has played a pivotal role in the O’s recent excellent run of form.

With Cuthbert’s contract expiring in the summer, his appearance at Deepdale could be potentially his last in an Orient shirt.
