Clapton Fc’s Jerome Martelli has linked up with Orient on a trial basis as he seeks to move his career into the professional ranks.

The 17 year old is predominantly known as a striker but can also play on the left or right of midfield.

Speaking on the Clapton website, chief executive Vincent McBean expressed his delight one of his players getting a move into the football league.

‘Clapton Football Club`s ability to produce quality young players continues with 17 year old Jerome Martelli now at Leyton Orient FC.’

‘This move for Jerome highlights why we all do what we do day in and day out, in the name of Clapton Football Club!’

It is expected if the trial is successful Jerome will link up with the O’s youth team.
