Leyton Orient are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by goalkeeper Alex Cisak in the two one victory over Grimsby Town at the weekend at Blundell Park was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Cisak was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Cisak was in imperious form as Orient overcame Grimsby Town 2-1 in Sky Bet League Two. A string of fine first-half saves kept out the hosts, and only a cruel deflection in stoppage time prevented a deserved clean sheet for the O’s stopper.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Cisak for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Alex Cisak (Leyton Orient), Chris Lowe (Huddersfield Town), Louis Laing (Notts County), Scott Wootton (MK Dons), Tony McMahon (Bradford City), Josh Morris (Scunthorpe United), Gary Roberts (Portsmouth), John Welsh (Preston North End), Graham Carey (Plymouth Argyle), Oliver Burke (Nottingham Forest), Nicky Ajose (Charlton Athletic).

Manager Garry Monk (Leeds United).
