Chorley Thanks O’s For Reception

Ben Chorley has thanked Leyton Orient fans for the reception he received when he returned with Stevenage.

Speaking to the Guardian-Series Chorley said.

‘It was a little bit strange but football’s a funny old game. I’d like to say thank you to the Leyton Orient fans. They were different class to me and gave me a good ovation before and after the game so I really appreciate it.’

Chorley finished the interview by wishing the club all the best, and he said he hoped that we get a good two legged result against Southend and get to Wembley, adding if we do, he’ll be there to support us.

He added that it was a difficult decision to leave the club but the offer of a longer contract was a security he needed.

Russell Slade had no issues with it, saying it’s part of football business and Leyton couldn’t offer him the same sort of deal that he had on the table from Stevenage.
