Leyton Orient visit mid-table Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday hoping to end their near 10 month wait for an away win.
O’s manager Russell Slade told leytonorient.com:
‘They’re (Bristol Rovers) a tough nut to crack at home, and I think they’re a good yardstick for this league because they’re always at least mid-table and sometimes have a little flirt with the play-offs. It’ll be a good test for us and it will be tough.
‘But at the same time we think we can maybe exploit one or two weaknesses that they’ve got.’
Bristol Rovers Team News:
Orient will be boosted by the news that Bristol Rovers striker Will Hoskins will be missing from the home side with an ankle injury.
Player to watch: Jeff Hughes
With star striker Will Hoskins out, midfielder Jeff Hughes will be one of the dangers to Orient tomorrow.
Hughes has already scored six goals in all competitions this season and will try and use his pace and skill on Saturday.
Leyton Orient Team News:
Russell Slade will be happy to welcome back veteran striker Scott McGleish to add more options upfront.
Whilst on-loan pair Andrew Whing and Paul-Jose Mpoku could also return.
Player to watch: Alex Revell
Striker Revell’s form has been one of the bright sparks in the O’s tough start to the season.
The former Southend man has scored seven goals so far this season and his goal threat and workload is key to Orient hopefully picking up that crucial away win.
